Report from a recovering WoW addict.

Hello darlings!
Today I am passing the 4 month milestone since leaving WoW. It is hard to believe that time has gone by so fast, in the blink of an eye. Life has a funny way of creeping up behind you and stabbing you in the back, and sometimes that stab is exactly what you need in order to grow. Without going into all the nasty bits, all I can say is, still married and more in love than ever. Amazing to discover someone again after almost 18 years of being together.

I am truly sorry to have left you all in the abrubt manner that I did, but the situation was such that no other action was possible. I am proud of my time in Quintessence. Learning to raid properly, working together with a group of great players, great persons, and quite a few great friends. I regret not getting to know each and everyone more, but I am so happy to have at least spent a little time with you all (even Giamp ). Struggling to learn new instances, struggling with boredom, struggling with Blizzard, learning and mastering things as a group and as a player. Quintessence was a great place to be, and to develop to a proper raiding warlock!

What does a retired raiding warlock do with her time? Maybe the proper question is, how on earth did the raiding warlock have time with real life at all? Suddenly I find myself enjoying time with my girls, with my husband, and with myself. I havent found a hobby yet, but my books get more attention, the garden gets more attention, TV gets some attention, and last knight the old lady even started a knitting project (be afraid be very afraid!!). I have been looking for some game to spend some time with, but am a bit worried about getting too caught up in an online game. We have downloaded Monkey Island (both the old and the new episodes) which looks promising
